Creative Discovery Museum is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to the education of children through interactive, hands-on experiences that foster creative and critical thinking. Creative Discovery Museum is a funded agency of the Allied Arts, and is located in Chattanooga, Tenn. Its programs include holiday camps where in addition to spending time in the exhibit and the museum, children are taken on a field trip to the Hunter Museum of American Art. It offers fun activities, such as printmaking, collages and painting. The museum also organizes workshops for children and teachers, homeschool programs and science shows. It operates a museum shop that sells educational toys and proceeds from shop sales support the museum’s education programs and exhibits. Its in-house snack bar, Cafe Dino Mite, offers a menu of sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, cookies, sweets, beverages and other snacks.
