Heritage Festivals is one of the most prestigious high school music festivals in the United States. It is a division of WorldStrides, a student travel organization based in Charlottesville, Va. WorldStrides has been providing educational travel programs to elementary, middle, high school and university students since 1967. Heritage Festivals specializes in organizing music festivals both at a regional level, as well as group performances at prestigious venues, such as Carnegie Hall. The division undertakes activities to promote musical artistry and excellence at the high school and middle school levels.
