Opened in 1970, the Avalon Inn has undergone several renovations through the years, including the addition of three Jacuzzi rooms and a junior Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool. The hotel features more than 135 guest rooms, each equipped with high-speed Internet access. The Avalon Inn also offers a variety of recreational activities, including tennis, swimming and a fitness center. In addition, the hotel is nestled between two 18-hole golf courses, including the Old Avalon Golf Course. The home course of the Avalon Inn, the Old Avalon Golf Course was established in 1928 and features a 6,224-yard, par 71 layout.
