Owner and president, Jim Groth created mountainside in 1966. Having originally purchased a small day camp on a beautiful 60-acre parcel of land, Jim began to receive inquiries about hosting company picnics. Mountainside is a fully catered, fully serviced special event facility providing menu design, activities, entertainment and promotions. The facility is able to accommodate more than 7,000 people for events including corporate outings, client entertainment, sales promotions, golf outings, high school reunions, sales meetings as well as corporate anniversary parties, trade shows, banquets, parties and family reunions. Mountainside has hosted events for clients from Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont.
