A Hessian sword, removed from the wall during renovations in the late 1960s and now on display in the main dining room of the restaurant, is just one part in the rich history of the colonial mansion that is now the Cocke ‘n Kettle. The Revolutionary war-era building where the restaurant is located is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The uniquely blended combination of historic colonial and contemporary structure contributes to the Cocke ‘n Kettle s ambiance. A second-generation, family-owned restaurant, Cocke ‘n Kettle offers dining and function rooms in a variety of sizes. Its menu is separated into a standard dinner, banquet, luncheon, tour/group, dinner package and wedding package selections. Cocke ‘n Kettle, located in Uxbridge, Mass., is owned and operated by the Sampson Family. After extensive renovation, the restaurant opened its doors in the spring of 1971.
