The Troy Community Center is open seven days a week and offers a variety of recreational, leisure and social activities to youths, children, teenagers, adults and senior citizens. It has been operational for more than 30 years and features three skylights, commercial free music, cable television sets and high-speed wireless Internet access. The community center s indoor aquatic facility includes a warm-water therapy pool, four-lap lanes and a leisure pool with several slides and play features. Its fitness room has more than 50 pieces of cardiovascular equipment and a variety of free weights. The community center includes two studios each for fitness aerobics and dance classes. Its teen room features a television with Dvd player, shuffleboard, video game system and music listening stations. The Troy Community Center has a senior store, Creative Endeavors, which sells handmade crafts. It also includes several meeting and banquet rooms that host a range of events.
