Rom’s Restaurant’s story began in 1952 when Romaldo Roscioli and his family opened a roadside stand, The Dairy Spot, which served soft-serve ice cream and hot dogs. The popularity of The Dairy Spot grew and several traditional Italian-style dishes were added to its menu due to its customer’s requests. Rom’s Restaurant offers a Sunday brunch buffet and Italian buffet on Friday nights. It serves a variety of pasta, salads, desserts, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees and seafood. The restaurant additionally hosts several special events and accommodate up to 350 people. It also sells gift certificates of several denominations for various occasions. Rom’s Restaurant provides take-out options and is located in Sturbridge, Mass.
