Located in San Rafael, Calif., Canal Alliance is a social service agency that offers a range of basic cross-cultural survival services. The agency enlists more than 400 volunteers, which include interpreters and translators. It provides a variety of support and care services that includes education, housing, employment, immigration, community organizing, and individual and family counseling.
