Insalata’s is a restaurant located in San Anselmo, Calif. Established in 1996, it draws inspiration from all parts of the Mediterranean and Middle East. Its menu includes humus, tirosalata and pasta, including cannelloni filled with wild mushrooms, fromage blanc, English peas and crispy prosciutto. The restaurant also serves Sardinian lamb stew, spiced yogurt grilled chicken, pan-seared Atlantic salmon and roast Alaskan halibut. Its wine list includes more than 100 selections from Mediterranean and north African countries, as well as Chile, South Africa, New Zealand and Napa.
