Meridian Vinyards is a California wine maker. It makes a full line of red and white wines, in both classic and reserve styles. Established in 1988, Meridian Vinyards produces premium wines from vineyards in Santa Barbara County, Edna Valley and Paso Robles. Meridian Vinyards makes popular varieties of wines, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc and blended Cabernets. Since it began, the company s vision was to produce wines that express the unique character of the Central California Coast region. Meridian uses grapes that are full of depth and intensity from its vineyards. Using traditional winemaking techniques of oak barrel aging, sur lie aging and malolactic fermentation, its wines are handcrafted and blended to achieve complexity and balance. Meridian Vinyards wines have won more than 200 medals since 1991.
