Founded in 1985, the General Jackson Showboat is one of the largest showboats in the United States. It is a 300-foot paddlewheel riverboat with three stories and several decks and is available for midday, evening, and party and special-event cruises. The boat houses a two-story Victorian Theater, which hosts live shows and musical events, including country and Broadway-style music. The General Jackson Showboat has a seating capacity of over 1,000 passengers. It hosts a variety of events, such as corporate parties, family reunions, weddings ceremonies, receptions, trade shows and convention events.
