The Walden Yacht Club sits on the shores of Lake Conroe, on the tree-lined peninsula of Walden, Texas. It is on a man-made lake that spans 21,000 acres within the wooded confines of the Sam Houston National Forest. A 536-slip marina, 18-hole golf course, 16-court tennis facility, swimming pools and a more than two-mile hiking and biking trail are on the site of the community. The club has a monthly newsletter to let members know of the various upcoming activities, such as music entertainment, wine-tasting functions, outings and dinners. The Walden Yacht Club maintains its office in Montgomery, Texas.
