Formerly known as Astor-on-the-lake, The Astor Hotel is an eight-story building that houses permanent residents in apartments and transient guests in hotel rooms. Founded in 1920, the hotel maintains more than 90 guest rooms, suites, and one-, two-, and three-bed room studio apartments. Its amenities include telephones, air-conditioning units and a parking area. The Astor Hotel maintains various meeting and banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 300 guests. Its Astor Street restaurant offers a variety of starters, entr es, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, beverages and side dishes.
