Pink Palace Museum, located in Memphis, Tenn., is governed by Pink Palace Family of Museums. It is one of the largest museums in Southeast United States. It offers an exploration of cultural and natural history of the mid-South United States through a variety of exhibits, dioramas and audiovisual material. The museum displays exhibits on the development of the city of Memphis from the time of Spanish explorers through the Civil War and yellow fever epidemic. It also displays exhibits on the growth of health care industry in the city. Pink Palace Museum receives more than 240,000 visitors every year. The museum includes Pink Palace Mansion that exhibits city life in the early 20th century. It also provides information on visiting hours and schedules, and organizes a range of public events.
