Located on Michigan s Upper Peninsula, Marquette Mountain offers a variety of activities for winter and non-winter sports. The ski resort is best known within the Upper Midwest for its skiing and winter activities. It is also open in warm season months to offer mountain biking, disc golf and outdoor concerts. Banquets and weddings have also been common among the scenic views and open spaces. The facilities host events and large groups. In the winter ski season, group packages are available to families, corporate groups, ski clubs, schools or church outings. Marquette Mountain has options open to meet outdoor activities as well as lodging. A minimum of 10 skiers and/or snowboarders are needed to qualify for discount lift tickets, rental, lessons and on-hill picnics hosted a group coordinator. Weather permitting, the ski facility has three chairlifts and one towrope regularly opened for guests. The ski resort has three groomers to help with the proper up-keep of snow and trail conditions. There are more than 20 ski runs that range from the bunny slope to longer steeper runs. Many resort guests are residents of Michigan and bordering Wisconsin.
