Founded by Noah W. Kreider and his wife in 1935, Kreider Farms encompasses a diverse farming and retail business. Nestled in the farm country of southeastern Pennsylvania, Kreider Farms was originally a 103-acre area, consisting of approximately a dozen dairy cows and 200 chickens. During the commencement of their business, the Kreider family marketed vegetables, grown in their garden, door-to-door. More than 70 years later, the farm s dairy and egg business houses nearly 1,500 dairy cows and approximately two million chickens. These operations supply the company s dairy stores, family restaurants and wholesale markets with fresh milk, ice cream and eggs. Family-owned, Kreider Farms employs a staff of nearly 450 people. Operating on nearly 3,000 acres, the farm is located in Manheim, Penn.
