The rolling, wooded golf course at Lakewood Country Club was originally a farm. Three Usga Championships and one Trans-Mississippi Championship have been held at the club. Lakewood is a full-service country club in the Denver Metro area. The club consists of maintained grounds, golf course and a clubhouse. It also provides casual and fine dining, athletic and recreational opportunities, entertainment and social activities. The Lakewood Country Club offers these programs and services to its members, their families and guests. In the last century, the Lakewood Country Club has had to rebuild its clubhouse twice due to fires. Lakewood Country Club was founded in 1908.
