El Torito Restaurants is a multiple-concept international restaurant company. It operates casual Mexican restaurants in the United States as well as franchise operations in Japan, Turkey and Middle East. The restaurant always starts with fresh, never frozen, tender chicken breast and juicy steak as its main ingredients. Chef specials include Michelada de Monterrey, Flautas de Carne and desert pear margaritas. El Torito also offers the Queso Fresco Enchiladas, Mexico City Tacos, Carnitas Michoacan, Mole Enchiladas Oaxaca as well as handmade tamales. The La Jolla, Calif., locations is one of several El Torito restaurants in California, Arizona and Oregon.
