Blue Ridge Country Club, established in 1937, is a members-only club and is located in Harrisburg, Pa. The club s membership is based on individual qualifications regardless of race, religion or cultural differences. Its 726,950-yard Blue Ridge golf course is located on the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The fast greens and lush fairways have hosted numerous Pennsylvania State Golf Association, Usga and professional events. The golf course offers five sets of tees enabling all golfers to match their skill to the challenge of the course. Its Pga master professional offers golf programs, golf functions, lessons and events to men, women, and juniors. The golf course was voted the best in Central Pennsylvania by a 2004 Patriot News reader s poll.
