Blockhouse Restaurant, established in 1981, is located in Greenville, S.C. The restaurant offers catering and banquet services with a menu that features oysters, Blue ribbon soups and combos, desserts and a wine list. Its soups are made from scratch never canned. The restaurant uses the finest ingredients for all preparations. The food is not frozen or prepackaged. The restaurant serves sandwiches with potato chips and a pickle on whole wheat. The burgers are a half-pound of fresh ground chuck, hand-patted daily and grilled on split hickory logs then served on a bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion, mustard, pickles and fries. The restaurant has served more than a million of its big burgers since 1981.
