Sunnybrook Country Club, located in Grandville, Mich., was founded in 1957 and designed by local golf course architect and consultant Bruce Matthews. In 1990 William Newcomb redesigned Sunnybrook. In 1993, a new kitchen, dining room and pool facilities were installed. Seven years later, a practice facility was added, complete with a putting green a driving range, and in 2002, a clubhouse renovation project was completed, which added a more spacious banquet facility. The present 18-hole layout features water on nearly every hole, with creeks winding though the front- and back-9. Several lakes and bunkers guard the greens. Sunnybrook Country Club s dining room is open for service from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., or sunset during the golf season. The club also has two ballrooms that are available to members for special occasions.
