Northeastern Office Equipment, located in Farmingdale, N.Y., is a full-service office equipment distributor for Konica Minolta, Panasonic, Muratec, Olympus, Phillips, Dictaphone, Norcom and Savin brand products. Its products include color copiers and printers, fax machines, scanners, whiteboards, shredders, digital duplicators, multifunction systems, network appliances and software solutions. The company was founded in 1955 as the North Shore Typewriter Company. The dealership was started selling Royal typewriters and related accessories. In 1993 Northeastern was awarded the New York State Contract for dictation products and has maintained that contract through the present date.
