Located in Elysburg, Knoebels Amusement Resort is a family-owned and operated amusement park that provides picnic groves and campground. It was opened in 1926 and provides rides, wooden roller coasters, carousel and a haunted house dark ride. It also has a variety of restaurants throughout the park with sitting facilities. The restaurants of the parks include Alamo, Cesari’s Pizza, Oasis Cafeteria, Phoenix Junction Steakhouse and the International Food Court. Its restaurants provide french fries, potato cakes, bison sandwiches, funnel cakes, ice creams, burgers, milk shakes and homemade fudge. It additionally provides tennis courts, campsites, waterslides and diving boards. The park rents its facilities for celebration of various events and occasions. It also hosts various sports training camps and recreational programs for children and adults.
