Roostertail is one of the premier waterfront entertainment facilities located in Detroit. Established in 1958, the facility hosts several weddings, proms, seminars and charity functions. It also organizes shows of celebrity performers, such as Tony Bennett, Eric Clapton and Aretha Franklin. Additionally, Roostertail provides various off-site catering services for group events. Its marine room occupies an area of more than 10,000 square feet and has a seating capacity of over 300 guests. The facility s club room features a full-service bar, streaming waterfalls and an advanced light and sound system. The club room also has an outdoor heated terrace with a seating capacity for nearly 25 people. Roostertail s buffet menu features tossed salads, baked fish, roast turkey, creamed mushrooms, sourdough rolls, garlic-mashed potatoes and sweet corn.
