Located in Charlotte, N.C., the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, also known as Crva is a hospitality organization that hosts various community events, as well as provides customer services for visitors. Its responsibilities include destination marketing and sports and other facilities management. The organization is governed by a 13-member board of directors and has an advisory committee with more than 30 volunteer members from the regional hospitality industry. With over 190 full-time employees, its facilities host over 600 events annually that are attended by nearly 2 million residents and visitors. The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority operates and manages the Nascar Hall of Fame, which features an exhibit space, media center, interactive entertainment restaurants and retail outlets.
