Founded in 1853, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington is a church that provides a range of spiritual and prayer services. It operates tribunal, communications, adult, children, media, marriage and family ministries. The church additionally maintains a youth ministry that coordinates various events, including the Youth Leadership Congress and March for Life, as well as provides parish support for the Youth Ministry Fair. It also operates more than 10 Catholic schools and serves over 3,000 students from kindergarten through grade 12. The church s schools include the Early Enrichment Center, Central Vermont Catholic School, Mount Saint Joseph Academy and Rice Memorial High School. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington serves the residents of Addison, Bennington, Caledonia, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, Rutland, Washington, Windham and Windsor counties in Vermont.
