Established in 1993, Union League Caf specializes in French cuisine. The caf occupies the historic Sherman Building, situated on the site of the house of New-Haven s first mayor, Roger Sherman, the only American whose name appears in the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution. Union League Caf s menu includes muffins, chocolate croissants, brioche French toast, Vermont maple syrup, crispy smoked bacon and whipped scrambled eggs. Its dining rooms are ideal for social gatherings. Union League Caf s ballroom grand salon can accommodate up to 135 guests. Its main dining room provides seating for up to120 guests.
