The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower, founded in 1981, is a nonprofit organization providing distance learning educational programs and services to health care professionals and consumers. It utilizes live meetings, print, video and audio teleconferencing, satellite broadcasts and computer-based technologies teaching formats. Its staff includes specialists in instructional design, visual communication arts, telecommunications production and conference services. The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences is located in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
