Chicago Gaelic Park is a nonprofit organization that promotes Irish Culture and heritage. Located in Oak Forest, Ill., the organization occupies an area of more than 50 acres and features sports fields, locker rooms, meeting rooms, banquet halls and a lounge bar. Its emblem reflects the tradition of Irish people with particular emphasis on work ethics and education. The organization hosts several weddings and dinner dances. It also offers an array of cultural activities throughout the year. Founded in 1985, Chicago Gaelic Park conducts cabaret shows, musical performances, cooking contests and informative concerts. Its bar offers smoked salmon, traditional fish with chips, vegetable sandwiches, chicken tenders, barbecued ribs, beef stews and bread puddings, as well as a variety of wines, martinis and beer.
