Nestled within century-old oaks, pines trees and natural vegetation, Halifax Plantation Golf Club in Ormond Beach, Fla., is one of the most picturesque courses in Central Florida. Designed by golf course architect Bill Amick, the course was created to challenge the novice and expert golfer with its choice of elevated tee boxes and undulating greens. The sports facility has four clay tennis courts, exercise room and swimming pool. The club offers golf, sports and special memberships to residents and non-residents. The course is part of the Halifax Plantation planned community more than 10 years in the making. Future developments will concentrate in areas to the south and west of the clubhouse.
