The Brown Palace Hotel, a luxury landmark located in the heart of downtown Denver, is a charter member of the National Trust Historic Hotels of America. Throughout its 112-year history, the Brown Palace Hotel has played host to presidents, princesses, kings and queens and their entourage of followers. Teddy Roosevelt was the first President to stop at the Brown Palace Hotel. He came to Colorado to hunt bear in the spring of 1905. President and Mrs. Eisenhower were the most frequent First Family to visit The Brown Palace. It served as Eisenhower s pre-campaign headquarters in 1952, and they spent many of their summer vacations here. The Beatles stayed at the Brown in August 1964. A Mobil Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond hotel, the Brown Palace is managed by Quorum Hotels & Resorts, a full service management company headquartered in Dallas.
