Embassy Suites Hotel, located in San Luis Obispo, Calif., is one of more than 170 Embassy Suites hotels in the United States, Canada and Latin America. The San Luis Obispo hotel features 196, two-room suites complete with galley kitchens, refrigerators, microwaves and coffeemakers. It offers guests a variety of amenities and services, including room service, free outdoor parking, high-speed Internet access, complimentary newspapers, fold-out sleeper sofas, satellite television service, three outdoor spas, an indoor heated pool, valet laundry, fitness center and an onsite restaurant. It also has more than 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space to accomodate a variety of corporate and private gatherings. The first Embassy Suites hotel opened in Kansas City, Mo., in 1984. In 2003, the hotel group received the J.D. Power and Associates award for ‘Highest in Guest Satisfaction Among Upscale Hotel Chains -the fifth consecutive year Embassy Suites had received the award.
